street noise limited selection

The room lacked proper soundproofing. Street noise was very noticeable late into the night. I also found the breakfast selection quite limited for a hotel of this category. It felt somewhat basic. (The pastries seemed stale.)

no air conditioning street noise

the location was acceptable. it was near the river.

Our room lacked proper air conditioning. despite repeated requests, the receptionist claimed fixing it was impossible because it was winter. the room was excessively hot. We had to sleep with the balcony door open. the street noise disrupted any chance of restful sleep.

river view room lovely staff great breakfast full amount charge cancellation issue refund error

the location was fabulous with river views from the rooms. the staff was lovely and very keen to help. the breakfast included breads, pastries, a different cake every day, eggs, ham, cheeses, and fruit salad. i really loved my stay there.

we originally booked a stay through the website. i sent emails and received a response that it was an error on their part. later, i received an email saying cancellation should be done through their own website and they were unable to refund the reservation.
